BRAND DNA

Girl in a long red dress with palm trees surrounding her

Driven by timeless art & iconic moments, we connect people to the natural beauty & simplicity of island life.

An idea is just the beginning – our mission is born from an active, deep-rooted passion to share what we love and what we live.

Individually & collectively, we are all artists and we inspire others to find their inner artist. Our work has no season, no time and no era – what we do lives without limits.

An appreciation of the elements that surround us and the life that affords. Land, sea, flora, tradition, culture... we are rich from the earth’s natural abundance.

Simple yet breathtaking, humbling yet powerful – we celebrate life’s modest treasures.

A home from home or a snapshot of a life we aspire to lead – we create a window to island life and an experience for all senses. An emotional connection.

At the heart of Strait The Label is an affinity with land, culture and sea. Strait The Label embodies the island woman. She who shares a deep connection with nature – admiring and enjoying its beauty in its simplest, yet richest form. Each collection captures the true essence of island life. Our pieces act as daily reminders of a life to be treasured in the here & now, or perhaps a window to the life we aspire to lead. And with a conscious lifestyle at the heart of everything we do, all our collections remain small scale. We believe we are the artists of our own lives, each day an expression of who we really are. We create opportunity for an individual to connect, in their own way, to natural island elements. To stop, take a breath and cherish the moment. At Strait, island life is our way of life. That’s what we call a ‘Strait state of mind.’

OUR LOGO - AN EXPRESSION OF OUR BRAND & A MARK OF QUALITY

Each character lovingly hand- drawn, the one-of-a-kind mark reflects the innocence & uniqueness of Strait The Label.

A hand-drawn mark and not a standard font. The label has its own sense of personality. No formula, no repetition, no predictability – just as we run on island time...

The ‘r’ echoes the fluidity of the ocean - a constant yet ever-changing element that inspires many strait pieces.

Pulling from nature, each letter has its own unique construct. No two the same, each curve and straight line comes together to reflect the fragility of its elements.

A period that marks a quiet, inner confidence. A statement of both quality & intention, the period reminds us of the sense of purpose we have in everything we do.

A nod to our intention to ‘stop & take a breath’
